Contract: Full Time / Permanent - Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 4:30pm & Friday, 08:00 – 14:00 (38 hours p/w). Flexible approach to this work pattern is required to work in the evenings and at weekends which can be mutually agreed in advance.
Travel within the UK will be required.

What the opportunity looks like:
The Team Leader - Maintenance will be responsible for leading, developing and managing of all maintenance operations to ensure the delivery of key results whilst adhering to all relevant and legislative requirements.
Working alongside production and project engineers they must be able to define a problem then scope, design and deliver a safe, cost-effective solution. You will be required to work on own or as part of a team depending on task. As well as creation of documentation and appraise proposals for work through our Safe Systems of Work to ensure a safe and sustainable environment and to agreed cost, quality and efficiency KPI targets.
The role is responsible for ensuring maximum plant availability at the Invergordon Grain Distillery, Maturation and the Four Malt Distilleries as well as meeting all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Provide motivation and direction to the team by encouraging and supporting the achievement of goals through coaching, feedback, recognition and role model the right behaviours aligned to our values.
- Ensure the health and safety standards are always upheld.
- Ensure maintenance teams always have the right number of people to do the jobs, the correct headcount for the department and time manage breaks and lunches IAW W&M policy.
- Ensure timely and effective response to unplanned breakdowns and implement permanent solutions.
- Implement best practice processes and procedures maximising effectiveness whilst maintaining strong interface with Process, maturation, and project engineering.
- Manage and control maintenance budgets in terms of plant reliability, legislative compliance and fixed costs for maximum functional benefit.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role we're looking for:
- HND or Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject Or Time Qualified in a similar industry (For example Oil & Gas/ Pharmaceuticals) is essential.
- Relatable maintenance work experience is essential.
- Full driving license is essential.
- NEBOSH Preferred Certification or IOSH as a minimum with the aim to become NEBOSH certified is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, FMECA and RCM systems is preferred.
