Contract:   Full Time / Permanent - Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 4.30pm & Friday, 08:00 – 14.00 (38 hours p/w).

Distillery operator Hours: 42 per week – Distillery Shifts - Covering a shift pattern working on a rotating pattern over a 7 day week.

What the opportunity looks like:

Assist with the efficient daily operation of Warehousing and biomass boiler. Take responsibility over general duties in a safe and efficient manner. Help with other duties, site housekeeping, gardening, painting etc. Work with care and attention being aware of other members of staff and any visitors to site (Tourists, Contractors etc) and also to protect integrity of company goods.

Requirement to provide cover for the Distillery Operator role, as and when requested in line with business requirements

• To work as part of a cohesive distilling team, responsible for the production of high-quality malt whisky, alternating between the Mash Operation and the distilling operation you will maintain the highest standards of Plant Efficiency and product quality, whilst ensuring adherence to all legislative requirements on site such as, Health & Safety, HMRC and Environmental compliance.
• Carry out stowing in warehouse.
• Supporting and coordinating spirit tanker filling tasks and completing relevant documentation
• Managing the boilers to a high standard & maintaining site compliance in relation to all regulations. - Ensure all input materials (pellets, chemicals, water, etc…) are maintained at sufficient levels to provide continuous operation 24/7.
• Maintaining the grounds of the distillery to a high standard.

Skills and experience that will help you be a success:

For this role we're looking for:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations desirable.
• Forklift Truck Experience preferable but not essential
• Driving licence essential.
• Experience of using basic Microsoft packages.
