Contract: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract - 9th June 2025 - 29th August 2025. Full Time 35 Hours per week.

What the opportunity looks like:-
Following on from the success of previous years, Whyte and Mackay are excited to announce their 2025 internship programme.
We have the opportunity for 8 Interns to join our 2025 internship cohort, this will be spread across various different areas within the business.
This will give students / graduates the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and skills within Whyte and Mackay home to a collection of multi-award-winning global whisky brands.
The International Category Researcher Intern key responsibilities:-
- Market Analysis Report: Conduct a detailed analysis of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies across >$100 Spirits.
- Track NPD (IWSR) providing analysis of performance and from Copilot & (other AI tools) their impact from shopper and consumer analysis.
- Utilising our new AI solution for gaining insight from shopper reviews to build learnings for our brands and categories we play in.
On completion of the internship you will:-
- Basic steps of the sales call.
- Understand Chain on Trade partnership plans/agreements.
- Key information of W&M focus brands/SKUs relevant to North Chain on Trade.
- Effective journey planning.
- Able to Identify decision makers.
- Collect customer information - range / pricing /competitors /promotional activity/ menus.
- Understand the Route to Market process and how this impacts the customer and W&M.
Skills and experience that we are looking for:
- Be studying/interested in having a career in a relevant field.
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be Computer literate and a basic knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- Must be available from 3rd June 2025 to 30th August 2025.
- Must be able to work onsite as and when required.
