Contract: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract - 9th June 2025 - 29th August 2025. Full Time 35 Hours per week.

What the opportunity looks like:-
Following on from the success of previous years, Whyte and Mackay are excited to announce their 2025 internship programme.
We have the opportunity for 8 Interns to join our 2025 internship cohort, this will be spread across various different areas within the business.
This will give students / graduates the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and skills within Whyte and Mackay home to a collection of multi-award-winning global whisky brands.
The Channel Marketing (GTR) Intern key responsibilities:-
- Digital DVA project. Assess our current digital DVA and update images of our brands & copy where we can.
- Digital brochure. Pull together a concise customer facing brochure of GTR brands.
- Competitor report & key consumer GTR trends using a number of platforms.
- Analysing regional IWSR GTR information.
- Keeping trackers up to date for DVA & promotional spaces.
On completion of the internship you will:-
- Understanding of the global travel retail channel.
- How channel marketing works with a global brand team & central marketing team to display our brands.
- How retail partners display brand images and information.
- How to create recommendations based on the findings.
- How to take key information and translate it into short copy to display the brands in a relevant impactful way for customers.
- How to work IWSR & analyse data.
Skills and experience that we are looking for:
- Be studying/interested in having a career in a relevant field.
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be Computer literate and a basic knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- Must be available from 3rd June 2025 to 30th August 2025.
- Must be able to work onsite as and when required.
