What the opportunity looks like:
The Brand Home Guide supports the Brand Home team to ensure that guests have the best experience possible while visiting the Jura Distillery. This includes hosting daily tours and tastings, serving customers in the shop as well as assisting in the running of the Jura Lodge.
We’re flexible on how this opportunity could work and are happy to consider full-time or part-time hours, on either a permanent or contract basis.
Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring the best levels of service at all times.
Lead enjoyable & authentic guided tours of the distillery delivering the key messages across brand, process, history and products.
Communicate your knowledge of Jura and the local area to deliver an authentic and entertaining tour experience.
Conduct enjoyable tastings of Jura whiskies to visitors and invited guests.
Ensure all customers receive the best possible service every time they visit the Brand Home.
Assist in the maintenance and standards on the shop floor for all displays and merchandise.
Keep stock clean and presentable at all times.
Uphold the company values by collaborating positively with all employees.
Provide resilience support cover with a range of housekeeping duties for the Jura Lodge.
Ensure H&S standards are upheld and complied with on site.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role we're looking for:
Some previous retail experience is preferred.
Previous experience of working with the public is preferred.
Previous experience of cleaning is desirable, including the use of chemicals and using cleaning machinery safely.
A love of whisky is preferred.
